Changing the Units of Measure

You can customize the units of measure displayed on the
watch.
1 From the watch face, hold
2 Select
> System > Units.
3 Select a measurement type.
4 Select a unit of measure.

Garmin Connect Settings

You can change your watch settings from your Garmin
Connect account, using either the Garmin Connect app or
the Garmin Connect website. Some settings are available
only using your Garmin Connect account and cannot be
changed on your watch.
• From the Garmin Connect app, select
Garmin Devices, and select your watch.
• From the devices widget in the Garmin Connect
application, select your watch.
After customizing settings, sync your data to apply the
changes to your watch

Wireless Sensors

Your watch can be used with wireless ANT+
Your watch with music features can also be used with
Bluetooth sensors. For more information about
compatibility and purchasing optional sensors, go to
buy.garmin.com.

Pairing Your Wireless Sensors

The first time you connect a wireless ANT+ or Bluetooth
sensor to your Garmin watch, you must pair the watch and
sensor. After they are paired, the watch connects to the
sensor automatically when you start an activity and the
sensor is active and within range.
TIP: Some ANT+ sensors pair with your watch
automatically when you start an activity with the sensor
turned on and near the watch.
1 Move at least 10 m (33 ft.) away from other wireless
sensors.
2 If you are pairing a heart rate monitor, put on the heart
rate monitor.
The heart rate monitor does not send or receive data
until you put it on.
3 Hold

4 Select
> Sensors & Accessories > Add New.
5 Bring the watch within 3 m (10 ft.) of the sensor, and
wait while the watch pairs with the sensor.
After the watch connects to the sensor, an icon
appears at the top of the screen.

to send data to your watch.

Before you can calibrate your speed sensor, you must pair
your watch with a compatible speed sensor

Club Sensors

Your watch is compatible with Approach
sensors. You can use paired club sensors to automatically
track your golf shots, including location, distance, and club

Situational Awareness

Your D2 Air X10 watch can be used with the Varia smart
bike lights and rearview radar to improve situational
awareness. See the owner's manual for your Varia device
for more information.

tempe

The tempe is an ANT+ wireless temperature sensor. You
can attach the sensor to a secure strap or loop where it is
exposed to ambient air, and therefore, provides a
consistent source of accurate temperature data. You must
pair the tempe with your watch to display temperature
data from the tempe.

About the AMOLED Display

By default, the watch settings are optimized for battery life
and performance

Image persistence, or pixel "burn-in," is normal behavior
for AMOLED devices. To extend the display life, you
should avoid displaying static images at high brightness
levels for long time periods. To minimize burn-in, the D2
Air X10 display turns off after the selected timeout
