Battery Information
Your unit contains an internal (non-
removable) lithium-ion battery. The
battery should last up to 8 hours,
depending on usage.
The
battery icon in the corner of
the Menu page indicates the status of the
internal battery. If the icon is not present,
the c510 is connected to external power.
Contact your local waste disposal
department for information on properly
disposing of the unit.
Maximizing the Battery Life

Updating the c510
Software
Use WebUpdater to update your c510
software. Go to
www.garmin.com/
products/webupdater/
WebUpdater program.
After downloading WebUpdater to your
computer, connect your c510 to your
computer, run WebUpdater, and follow
the screen prompts. After confirming
that you want to perform an update,
WebUpdater automatically downloads
the update and installs it on your c510.
If you register your c510, you will
receive e-mail notification of software
and map updates. To register your c510,
go to www.garmin.com/registration/.
