(19) Close the Front Cover, and then turn on GT-541. If GT-541 turns on without any problem,

replacement of the Wiper Cleaner Cassette has been completed. If there is problem (abnormal noise or

error,) turn off GT-541 and check if the Wiper Cleaner and the Wiper Cleaner Cassette are correctly

installed.

Print and check the Nozzle Check Pattern

You can identify which Print Head has the problem if any by checking the Nozzle Check Pattern.

(1) Install the Platen 14 x 16.

(2) Set the Platen height to the "A" position.

(3) Place a paper (A4 or letter size) on the Platen as shown below. You can use a T-shirt instead

of the paper.

(4) Press the OK Button to open the Menu Display.

(5) Press the Up/Down Button to select "Test Print", and then press the OK Button.

(6) Press the Up/Down Button to select "Nozzle Check", and then press the OK Button.

The following message appears.

(7) Press the OK Button to start printing the Nozzle Check Pattern.

(8) Check the printed pattern to identify which Print Head has the problem if any.

If there is stripes (arrow 1) or line breaks (arrow 2), the Print Head of the color (in the following

example: Black) has the problem. The Print Head need to be cleaned or simply do a power clean

on that head to see if that resolves the missing nozzle or stripe.
