Replacing the operating panel

Ê Open the server and remove the front cover or the rack front cover as

described in the

Figure 2: Removing the operating panel module

Ê Press the two metal tongues of the EasyClick rails inward (1) until the locking

mechanism is released.

Ê Pull the operating panel module forward out of its mounting location (2) until

you can remove the I

operating panel board. Remove the three cables.

Ê Remove the operating panel module.

Ê Push the operating panel module halfway into the upper bay of the drive

cage.

Ê Connect the I

panel board (see the board layout on

Ê Now push the operating panel module fully into the upper bay of the drive

cage.

Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see

the Options Guide).
