C.2 IPC-2/CMP-2 option board installation

WARNING: Follow the outlined procedure to avoid danger from electrical components.

(1) Verify that the scanner power is turned off.

(2) Remove the AC cable from the rear of the scanner.

(3) Romove the two screws securing the power supply and the interface PCA assembly.

(4) Pull the power supply and the PCA assembly out slightly and remove the flat cabel

connector. Then pull out the entire assembly.

CAUTION: Do not pull on the flat cable too strongly or it may be damaged.
