Power off security

Through the CMC, the front USBs and power button can be disabled so as to not allow any control

of the system from the front of the blade.

The M910 supports the following USB devices:



DVD (bootable; requires two USB ports)



USB key (bootable)



Keyboard (only one USB keyboard is supported)



Mouse (only one USB mouse is supported)

A replaceable coin cell CR2032 3V battery is mounted on the planar to provide backup power for

the Real-Time Clock and CMOS RAM on the ICH9 chip.

The planar contains a serial EEPROM to contain FRU information including Dell part number, part

revision level and serial number.
