Blade Replacement Diagram

1. To replace a worn blade, loosen set screw (a), remove adaptor, spacers and install

a new blade. Blade should be installed with the saw teeth pointing downward

as you turn the blade towards the front of the saw (FiG.5). Replace spacers,

adaptor and secure. Finish blade replacement by retightening the set screw (a).

2. Reattach and adjust the cutting table to the required height, following the directions

in Section B of this manual.

3. Before starting the saw, be sure the blade is centered correctly in the cutting

Table and Blade Guard assembly.

use and Maintenance

a. cross cutting/Mitering

The PowerMiter IV is equipped with a standard sized medium duty cutting blade, perfect

for cutting lead, zinc, came and brass channel. The two types of cutting are Cross Cutting

and Mitering.

1. Before turning on the power, raise the Blade Guard assembly to accommodate

the material being cut, tighten in place over blade.

2. To cut, plug the saw into a grounded outlet and turn the power on (FiG.6),

slowly advance the material into the blade, holding the came firmly on

both sides.

3. To cross-cut or miter, set the miter Guide to the desired angle, hold material

being cut firmly against the miter Guide and slowly advance material into blade.
