■ Using the USB device
No response when
[¶ REC, TAPE] button is
pressed.
USB recording stops
suddenly.
"REC ERROR"
The USB drive or its contents
cannot be read.
Slow operation of the USB
device.

■ Disc trays

Disc tray(s) cannot open.
"CHGR ERR" is displayed.
• Disconnect the USB device and then reconnect it back. Alternatively, turn the unit off and
then back on.
• Select a suitable recording mode (128 KBPS or 192 KBPS) and resume recording.
• The USB drive format or its contents is/are not compatible with the system, "NO PLAY" is
displayed. Unplug the USB device and insert it again.
Alternatively, format the USB device and record the desired tracks again and playback the
device.
• The USB host function of this product may not work with some USB devices.
• USB devices with storage capacity of more than 8 gigabytes may not work in some
instances.
• Large fi le size or high memory USB fl ash drive takes longer time to read.
• The USB device is drawing too much power. Disconnect the USB device. Turn the unit off
and then back on.
• You cannot use high-speed recording while using analogue mode. Change to digital mode
or use normal recording.
• You cannot perform a second high-speed recording. You have to wait until the displayed
"XX" minutes have lapsed prior to performing the next high-speed recording.
• You cannot perform high-speed recording because the total USB remaining REC
(recording) time of the USB device is less than the total time of the music source.
Change to a USB device which has the appropriate recording time and perform the high-
speed recording again.
• Press [y/I] to release the jammed tray(s) as the unit will switch off. Turn it on again and the
tray(s) will initialise to the previous tray(s) condition.
• If this still does not fi x the problem, please consult the dealer.
