Dear customer,

thank you very much for purchasing our Quality product.

Please read these instructions carefully and completely before you put the device into operation in order to avoid possible damages due to

inappropriate use.

Functional principle:

The energy saving BioMetrixx S100-Insect Killer (energy consumption < 1.5 Watt) lure Insects trough UV-Light.

On his way towards the UV-light source the Insect will come in contact with the high voltage grid and instantly killed.

The Insects will fall afterwards to the bottom of the appliance which can be easily cleaned.

ATTENTION – Please switch of the appliance before opening the bottom for cleaning!

Area of application:

mobile or stationary in living rooms, bedrooms, commercial premises like offices, shops, exhibition spaces. Also in caravans, tents, boats ,

etc.

Operation:

The BioMetrixx S100-Insect Killer can be powered using ordinary (AA) batteries, rechargeable (AA) batteries or via the integrated USB

port. If operated by batteries you need to insert 4 (AA) batteries into the battery compartment on top of the Insect-Killer. It is also possible

to power the Appliance by using the USB-Port, if connected via USB cable (included) to an USB power supply (not included).

Please Note; the USB-Port has no charging function – rechargeable batteries needs to be charged using a battery charger.

Please remove batteries out of the battery compartment if operated/ powered via USB-Port.

For getting the most efficient catching results, please do not place or hang the appliance close to other light sources!

Starting / stopping the appliance:

The Insect Killer has an integrated switch with three positions (see picture). If the appliance is powered by USB cable, please put the switch

towards the "USB" position. When powered by Batteries, please put the switch to the position "Batteries". To turn of the appliance, please

put the switch on the position "OFF" which is in the center.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Please remove all batteries out of the battery compartment or if operated via the USB-Port disconnect the USB-cable from the USB power

supply before you can start with cleaning and maintenance of the appliance. At the bottom of the appliance there is a catch basin for the

dead Insects which can be opened and cleaned. Do not use water or other liquids for cleaning. Please use lint-free cloth, and a dry, soft

brush.
