12. Troubleshooting
Here are some things that you can do when your phone
hangs, has problems running applications, or is operating
slowly.
•
Check if there is enough free space on the phone to
run the application.
To check free space, press HOME > MENU, and
then tap Settings > SD card & phone storage or
Applications.
•
Clear data and cache of applications.
To clear data and cache, press HOME > MENU, and
then tap Settings > SD card & phone storage or
Applications > Manage applications.
•
Uninstall third-party applications.
To uninstall third-party applications, press
HOME > MENU, and then tap Settings >
Applications > Manage applications.
•
If your phone is not responding to input, remove the
battery, wait for 3 seconds, reinstall the battery and
then turn on the phone.
•
Backup important phone data and then reset the
phone.
To reset the phone, press HOME > MENU, and then
tap Settings > Security > Factory data reset.
•
