FRONT PANEL CONTROLS AND DISPLAY

Press MENU once to wake-up from Standby.

Press MENU for 1 second to enter Standby.

Insert a Compact Disc into the slot and it will automatically load.

The display will indicate 'Loading' while the mechanism reads the Table of Contents (TOC).

It will then show the number of tracks, the total time of the CD, and automatically play the

first track.

If a Compact Disc is already inside the 4040 CD, when it is woken-up from standby it will read

the TOC and show the number of tracks and total time of the CD. If there is no disc loaded

the 4040 CD will display 'No Disc'.

Press >II to PLAY the first track. Press >II to PAUSE.

Press

to STOP playing but leave the disc inside.

Press >>I to move the disc forward to the next track.

Press I<< to move the disc backward to the last track.

Press

to stop play and EJECT the disc.

Press briefly to select the SETUP MENU, then press >>I or I<< to select options and then

press MENU again to confirm selection.

Press once to enter. Press >>I to select display Always ON or Auto OFF.

Display brightness has 7 levels of adjustment.

Auto Standby time can be set for: 30 mins, 60 mins, or 120 mins without a signal. Always On,

means it will not automatically power down without a signal.

Software revision V1.0 confirms the initial release number and may be updated in future if

necessary. CD Servo software revision V1.0 is also the initial release number.

Press to exit SETUP MENU or wait for 10 seconds to automatically exit.
