Q: What is the program line?

A: When the exposure mode [P (Program AE)] is selected, the following three types of program lines can be

selected to determine the exposure.

GR IIIx and GR III (with firmware version 1.50 or later)

Normal

Open priority

Depth priority (deep)

*For GR III (firmware version 1.41 or earlier) versions, you can choose between "Normal" and "Open Priority".

The camera automatically selects the shutter speed and aperture value at which a

standard exposure is obtained.

The camera automatically selects an aperture value as wide open as possible

(f/2.8) for a combination of exposure values that provides a standard exposure.

The camera automatically selects the exposure value with priority given to the

aperture value "F11".
