a series

performance
checks
that can be done without
any disassembly
of the radio.
If
there is an indication of
a
malfunction,
these checks should
be the first step
in
the fault isolation
process. The
FCC
requires that the frequency and deviation
of
the transmitting
device
be
checked
before the
device
is
placed
in
service
and once annually thereafter.
When making measurements using
field
test equipment, allow for
+10% measurement
error.
The
SYSTEMS SABER
radio is
factory tuned using equipment
of
greater accuracy.
