4.1 Using external speakers
In order to use external speakers with the TOSHIBA
TDP490 you need an amplifier. Connect the amplifier to
the audio out on the TOSHIBA TDP490.

When external speakers are connected, these can be
turned on or off from the TOSHIBA TDP490. To control
the internal speakers, see section on Adjust audio
settings, section 7.3.3.
