Chapter 3. Explore your computer

Customize intelligent features in Lenovo Vantage

You can enable or disable and customize many intelligent features in Lenovo Vantage.

Step 1.

Open Lenovo Vantage.

Step 2.

Select Devices ➙ Smart assist.

Step 3.

Change settings that control the various intelligent features.

Eye Care Mode

Eye Care Mode intelligently adjusts the color temperature of the screen and can reduce the chances of

developing eye fatigue or eye strain.

Note: You may need to connect to the Internet and complete Windows Update for this feature to take effect.

Zero Touch

Zero Touch enables you to improve work efficiency by automatically waking up and logging into your

computer, or dimming the display and locking the computer depending on user detection. For selected video

players, this feature will pause any video playing when you leave the computer and resume upon your return.

Zero Touch can be enabled or disabled in Lenovo Vantage or Lenovo Smart Engine.

Smart Appearance

Smart Appearance can help you blur the background behind you or replace the background with a variety of

default and custom choices. You can also beautify the skin and refine your face shape to a preferred level.

This setting could be applied to any video communication software you use on this computer.

Super Resolution (for selected models)

By utilizing the capabilities and potentials of Intel processors, Super Resolution helps you play videos with a

higher resolution than the original ones. It works especially well in cases where the source video has a poor

resolution.

For most players, Super Resolution can be enabled or disabled in Lenovo Vantage or Lenovo Smart Engine,

but for PotPlayer, you need to enable this feature manually.

Note: You may need to connect to the Internet and complete Windows Update for this feature to take effect.

Show main menu and click Video ➙ Video Renderer ➙ EVR (Vista/.Net3).

Smart Noise Cancellation

By filtering the input and output environments, Smart Noise Cancellation helps you reduce noise and

optimize the call effect or the call quality in different scenarios.
