• This product includes rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries. Do not incinerate batteries
or expose to high temperatures, as they may explode.
• Unplug the charger from the outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving
parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or
hot ashes.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filter in place.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in
areas where they may be present.
• Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid, which is
20-35% solution of potassium hydroxide, gets on the skin (1) wash quickly with soap
and water or (2) neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid
gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10
minutes. Seek medical attention.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
• Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to prevent
tripping accidents.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free
of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can
explode in a fire.

2. Select a place for the charging station where the
appliance is stable and always protected from heat
and moisture during charging.
3. Push the wall mount of the charging station onto
the connector of the base. You must feel and hear it
click into place.
NOTE:
Instead of pushing the wall mount onto the base, you
may fix it to a wall. For attaching it to a wall, the wall
mount has 3 grommets on its backside.

You must hear and feel the catch on the backside of the con-
nector snap shut.
CHARGING
NOTE: Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
CHARGE 24 HOURS BEFORE FIRST USE.

The battery must be charged before you can work with the appliance. To do this: Connect
the AC adapter to the connector of the charging station.
Connect the AC adapter to a socket that carries the same voltage as that indicated on the
AC adapter's type plate.
Make sure that the appliance is switched off and cannot be switched on by accident.
NOTE:
The appliance cannot be charged when switched on.
Set the upright cleaner with the grommet at its backside onto the charging station's receptacle. The charging indicator
will blink.
A complete charging cycle takes 14 to 16 hours.
NOTE: The charging indicator is on continuously when the batteries are fully charged.

2. The crevice nozzle will automatically be partially or fully extended. If you actually want to use
the crevice nozzle, extend it completely until its latch becomes visible on the underside of the
handheld and clicks into place. If you do not want to use the crevice nozzle, push it all the way
back into the handheld. Never operate the appliance without the crevice nozzle, because the air
will not be properly sucked in without it.
CREVICE TOOL MUST BE PUSHED ALL THE WAY IN BEFORE STORING IN UPRIGHT CLEANER.
TRANSPORT & STORAGE

It is recommended to fold down the handle again for storage and transportation. Now you can
conveniently carry the appliance by the handheld's handle.
Always store the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach of children.
Before storing it for a prolonged time empty the dust container and dispose of its contents
properly.
DIRT CUP REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
1.
IMPORTANT: FOR BEST RESULTS, CLEAN AFTER EACH USE.
1. If not already done, take the handheld cleaner out of its receptacle.
2. Hold the handheld with the dust container pointing downwards so that no dust will fall out during
opening.
3. Push the release catch (a) on the dust container and twist the container off the motor unit (b).
4. Hold the dust container deeply into a dustbin.
5. First remove the motor protection filter and then the permanent filter from the dust container.
6. Empty the dust container into the dustbin.
7. Remove any dust remaining in the dust container by hand.

8. If this is not sufficient wipe the insides of the dust container clean with a slightly damp
cloth.
9. Also clean the filters on this occasion.
10. Put the filters back into the dust container in their correct position.
11. Assemble the halves of the handheld cleaner as shown. Take care that the tabs of the
motor unit engage the slots of the dust container.
12. Lock the halves together by twisting them against each other.
13. Put the dust container back into its holder.
NOTE: You can dispose of the contents of the dust container with the normal domestic waste as long as it does not contain
any substances not permitted for domestic waste.

REMARQUE:
Au lieu de placer le support mural dans le socle, vous
pouvez aussi monter ce dernier contre une paroi.
Pour faire un montage contre la paroi, le support de
paroi possède sur sa face postérieure trois oeillets de
suspension.
