Introduction
Portable audio products are everywhere, reflecting demand from active people
all over the world to take their music with them. Porsche offers an optional
3.5mm jack for the CDR30 and CDR 31 radios which may be satisfactory to
some, but those looking for a better solution we offer the iL-CDR30.
The iL-CDR30 users are able to play and charge any Apple Lightning device
including the iPhone XR, iPad Pro etc. without sacrificing the look and feel of the
dashboard components.
The A2D-CDR30 replaces factory AUX jack (if so
equipped) and is also compatible with or without factory Hands-Free option.

Installation

1.
Disconnect Main Quadlock from radio (See Fig. 1) by squeezing
release tab at the top of the plug. Pull back on release tab to slide
plug from radio cavity.

2. Connect installation Quadlock plug (See Fig. 4) to radio slot
3. Disconnect GREEN and BLUE 12-pin inserts (if present) from radio
plug (See Fig. 1)
Warning: Factory AUX (GREEN) insert is replaced by BLACK insert from
harness (See Fig. 3) GREEN insert remains disconnected.
If equipped with BOSE; transfer orange fiber leads (See Fig. 2) to harness
Quadlock vacant slot (See Fig.3)

4. Connect factory BLUE insert (if present) to vacant slot on
harness Quadlock (To radio in Fig. 3)
