Radio 16-pin connector
Disconnect 16-pin plug (See Fig. 4) from radio chamber (See Fig 3).

To release plug, pull blue locking tab, press black release tab. (See Fig.
4) and remove plug out radio cavity.
Warning: Avoid pulling on wires. Grasp and pull plug to remove.

Connect factory 16-pin plug to harness 16-pin connector (See Fig. 5)

Connect harness 16-pin plug (See Fig. 4) to radio 16-pin cavity vacated

Secure installation harness Black wire (ground) to ground or simply

remove screw from radio chassis and secure ground wire to radio as
seen in Fig. 6

Turn key to ACC position and turn radio "ON"

Verify module LED is flashing (peephole on underside)

Turn ignition/radio "OFF" and proceed with next step.

Vehicles with Active XM subscription, go to step 12
Connect supplied 3.5mm audio cable (See Fig. 7) to module "AUX" jack

(See Fig. 8). Route other end to front of the dash or wherever Aux
device will reside (within 3 ft.)
