7.0 Troubleshooting and correction

You have chosen the best quality and therefore deserve the best service. To avoid unnecessary disap-

pointments, you should check the following before contacting the nearest ALTO service organisation:

Fault

Machine will not start

Machine stops shortly

after the start

Fuses blow

Pressure fluctuating

and pulsating

Pressure varies from

max. to min.

(in suction mode)

No working pressure

Should other malfunctions occur than those mentioned above, please contact the nearest ALTO service

organisation.

Cause

A fuse has blown

Power/plug not connected

Defective extension cable

Defective socket

Extension cables not cor-

rectly dimensioned

Wrong mains voltage

Water supply too low

Water filter clogged up

Nozzle partly blocked

High pressure hoses too

long

Suction height too high or

water too hot

Nozzle clogged up

No inlet water

Hoses/spray lance frozen

Correction

Change the fuse

Connect power/plug

Try without extension cable

Try another socket

Remove extension cable or use correct

cable dimension (see sec. 2.1).

Wait 1 minute and try to restart machine.

Check that the mains voltage corresponds

to the data on the model tag (see sec. 1.1).

Change to an installation corresponding

to the ampere consumption of the machine

at a minimum.

Dismount water hose and check the

water volume (min. 15 l/min.) NB: Avoid

long thin hoses (min. 3/4").

Clean the filter (see sec. 6.0).

Clean the nozzle (see sec. 6.1).

Dismount high pressure extension hoses

and retry. Extension hose max. 50m.

NB: Avoid long extension hoses with

many couplings.

Clean the nozzle (see sec. 6.1)

Check inlet water

Let them thaw out
