1. Connect one end of an Ethernet crossover cable to local LAN port 1 of 6400LF. This port
can be seen in area "B" of Figure 1: 6400LF2 Front Panel. Connect the other end of
the cable to your computer's Ethernet port.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet crossover cable to a PC with a web browser.
3. If AC power supply modules are installed in the chassis, plug one end of the power
adapter into an AC outlet and the other end into the power receptacle on the 6400LF,
noted in area "A" of Figure 1: 6400LF2 Back Panel.
4. If DC power supply modules are installed in the chassis, complete the following steps *:
a) Turn off the DC power supply for the 6400LF2.
b) Attach the grounding cable to the corresponding terminal lug, located in area "A"
of Figure 1: 6400LF2 Back Panel.
