CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING CAN LEAD TO DEATH
Carbon monoxide poisoning: Early signs of carbon monoxide
poisoning resemble flu symptoms, with headaches, dizziness or
nausea. If you have these symptoms, the heater may not be working
properly. Get fresh air at once! Have the heater serviced. Some people
are more affected by carbon monoxide than others. These include
pregnant women, people with heart or lung disease or anemia, those
under the influence of alcohol, and those at high altitudes.

• If bubbles appear, turn the cylinder
valve OFF (clockwise) and disconnect
the heater from the gas cylinder.
• Tighten the connection and retry the
leak test.
• If you are unsure or if you cannot
tighten the connection, place the cyl-

• A leak between the heater and cylinder
can lead to a high pressure fire, which
