6. OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS

6.1 Front Panel

HDMI IN: Connect to the HDMI or DVI output (with a DVI to HDMI

adaptor)of a source device such as a DVD/Blu-ray player or a Set-

top Box with an HDMI cable or cascade to a compatible Receiver

unit (see Section 8.2) to extend the transmission distance.

DC 5V: Connect the 5V DC power supply to the unit and plug the

adaptor into an AC outlet.

6.2 Rear Panel

EDID Switch: Selects between 'STD' and 'TV' EDID settings. Switch

to 'STD' to use the transmitter's built-in EDID settings or to 'TV' to use

the TV's EDID settings. The default factory setting is TV, keep in this

setting when the display is functioning normally. When switched

to 'STD' the unit will use its built-in EDID settings which support

1080p@8-bit, 10-bit or 12-bit Video and PCM 2CH Audio.

Note: Power the unit OFF then ON for the EDID selection to be

activated.

CAT6 OUT: Connect to the CAT6 input of a compatible Single CAT6

to HDMI Receiver unit (see Section 8.2) attached to an display.
