Slide the encoder ring over the pier extension as shown below:
You will need to push it down with a bit of force – you can use a piece of soft wood
timber that is long enough to push on opposite sides of the ring (apply it on the top). You
will need to push it down until the top of the ring is in line with the top surface of the
pier extension:
