EQStar User Guide

The default guiding speed for each axis is x0.5. Pressing the RA + button up to three times will result

in x0.5, x0.75 and x1.0 speeds. Similarly, 'DEC +' button presses change the DEC guide speed from

x0.5 to x0.75 to x1.0. The EQStar will respond with appropriate beeps as these changes are made.

Now disconnect the joystick and connect the autonomous guider to the ST-4 port.

To deactivate the ST-4 guiding mode, press and hold the joystick 'mode' button again for 5 seconds.
