The AZStarPRO control system is designed to automate the control of
azimuth mounts of telescopes, and can be used autonomously, in the
control mode from a computer or a mobile device (smartphone, tablet,
etc.).
On a personal computer, AZStarPRO works with the SynScan PC
application and any astronomical software that supports the ASCOM
platform. AZStarPRO allows you to automatically find objects in
space, and automatically track their movement.
On a mobile device, AZStarPRO works with the SynScan mobile app
and the Stellarium mobile or SkySafari planetarium programs.
Before using AZStarPRO, on a PC or mobile device, you need to
install the SynScan app.
A USB or WiFi interface is used to connect AZStarPRO with devices.
In stand-alone mode (without using a PC or mobile device)
AZStarPRO only supports manual control from a push-button
joystick.
AZStarPRO supports operation with stepper motors.
The variety of modes and applications supported by AZStarPRO
makes it possible to create especially comfortable conditions for the
user to control the mount, depending on the tasks at hand.
