Setting   u p:  
You'll   n eed   a n   S D   c ard,   c lass   6   o r   h igher   t o   r ecord   o nto.   T he   c ard   g oes   i n  
the   " Card   O pen"   s lot   o n   t he   r ight   s ide   o f   t he   c amera.     T he   c amera   b attery  
slides   i n   t he   b ottom   o f   t he   c amera.  
 
Set   t he   c amera   t o   t he   " Movie"   s etting   ( the   d ial   o n   t op   o f   t he   c amera,   t he   s etting  
that   l ooks   l ike   a n   o ld   s tyle   m ovie   c amera   o n   a   t ripod),   a nd   t urn   t he   c amera   o n   ( the  
switch   n ext   t o   t hat   d ial).  
 
After   r emoving   t he   f ront   l ens   c ap,   y ou   c an   a ttach   t he   l ens   h ood   ( if   i t's   n ot   a lready   a ttached)   b y  
pressing   a nd   h olding   i n   t he   t wo   b uttons   o n   t he   s ide   o f   t he   h ood,   t hen   f itting   i t   t o   t he   l ens.  
Release   t he   b uttons,   a nd   t he   h ood   s hould   h old   i n   p lace.  
 
For   f ocusing   t he   c amera,   s et   t he   " AF/MF"   s witch   ( located   o n   t he   l ens  
itself)   t o   " MF"   f or   M anual   F ocus.   O n   t he   l ens,   t he   z oom   i s   t he   l argest   r ing  
around   t he   l ens,   a nd   t he   f ocus   r ing   i s   c losest   t o   t he   g lass   a t   t he   e nd   o f   t he  
lens.  
 
Just   b elow   t hat   i s   t he   i mage   s tabilizer,   w hich   c an   b e   s et   t o   " ON"   t o   m ake   y our   i mages   l ess   s haky

The   " Menu"   S ettings:  
To   s et   t he   e xposure   a nd   o ther   s ettings,   p ress   t he   " Menu"   b utton   ( on   t he   u pper  
left   o f   t he   b ack   o f   t he   c amera).   T he   m enu   w ill   s how   u p   o n   t he   L CD   d isplay.  
 
The   f irst   m enu   i s   t he   " Movie   1 "   m enu,   T o   m ake   a   c hange   t o   a ny   o f   t hese   s etting,   u se   t he   u p   a nd  
down   a rrows   o n   t he   b ack   o f   t he   c amera,   t hen   p ress   " Set"   t o   m ake   a   c hange.     M ake   s ure   t he  
"Move   R ec.   S ize"   i s   s et   t o   1 920x1080   a t   2 4   f ps   i n   t his   m enu   ( you   c an   a lso   s et   i t   t o   3 0fps   f rom  
the   s ame   m enu).  
 
The   S econd   m enu   ( which   y ou   c an   g et   t o   b y   p ressing   t he   R ight   A rrow   b utton)   i s   t he   " Movie   2 "  
menu.   Y ou   c an   s et   " Movie   E xposure"   t o   M anual   o r   A uto.   Y ou   s hould   s elect   M anual   s o   y ou   c an
