SETTING THE JIGSAW

NOTE: Remove the plug from the socket before

carrying out adjustment, servicing or maintenance.

8.1 BLADE FITTING AND REMOVAL - FIG. 1

A jigsaw can be used for a variety of applications so

the correct blade choice is important.

i. Lift the chip guard

ii. Loosen the two 3mm hex. socket bolts

enough to open the blade clamp

iii. Slide the blade up into the blade clamp

with the teeth facing forward.

iv. Tighten the two 3mm bolts

v. Lower the chip guard

NOTE: This jigsaw will fit both Universal blades and

Bayonet blades.
