Using a whitener

How to use the laundry whitener dispenser

a) Liquid whitener

Dilute the whitener in two parts of water

and pour it into the whitener dispenser at

the top of the washing machine while the

water is being supplied during the washing

cycle.

b) Powder whitener

Pour the whitener and the detergent into

the wash/spin drum at the same time.

As soap powder does not dilute as well

as concentrated detergent, it might be

necessary to repeat the rinsing cycle. If

too much powdered soap is added or the

water temperature is low, the undissolved

soap may stick to the inside of the wash/

spin drum.

NOTE: Do not pour chlorine into the

washing machine or onto your clothing as

this will cause damage. Carefully read and

follow the instructions and warnings about

whitener. Do not use whitening products

on coloured fabrics. Do not pour whitener

directly onto the load, otherwise the

laundry may change colour. After adding

whitener, rinse the whitener intake with

water.

If you are not going to use the washing

machine for a long period or over the

holidays you must: disconnect the

washing machine. Cut off the water supply

in both hoses. This recommendation will

help to prevent accidental ﬂoods (if the

water pressure increases) while you are

away.

Important note:

Stain removal rules

We recommend that you soak

or rinse stained, excessively dirty,

or grease-stained clothing ﬁrst,

and this way you will obtain better

results. Soaking gets rid of blood,

milk or grease stains.

Use warm water to rinse or wash

stained clothing. Hot water may ﬁx

the stain.

Before removing any type of stain

make sure you know what kind of

stain it is, what type of fabric and

if it is suitable for this (check the

label).

Washing and drying may ﬁx some

stains.

It is easier to remove most stains

when they are new. It is possible

that old or hardened stains may not

be removed.

If you use a stain remover, place

the stained garment face down on

stain remover to the back of the

stain to remove it.
