WARNING AND SAFEGUARD

• Read and follow all instructions before using the

ViaAqua

Pressure Pond Filter to ensure proper

use and application.

• Use this product for its intended use only.

• Do not operate the ViaAqua

Filter without water.

• You must verify that the receptacle is clean and

free of water and moisture. Failure to do so may

cause electrical arching resulting in fire or electri-

cal shock.

• Prior to maintenance on any electrical appli-

ance or pond, you must disconnect all electrical

aquarium devices.

• Routine maintenance is required to ensure the

maximum performance and the longevity of the

ViaAqua

Pressure Pond Filter. (See mainte-

nance guidelines.)

• Never yank or pull the cord from the electrical outlet.

• Do not operate if the plug or wire is damaged.

• Verify that hands are dry prior to disconnecting the power.

• To reduce the risk of electrocution, keep all connections dry.

• Do not open the Pressure Pond Filter when the pump and filter are

operating.

• Do not use any soaps or detergents to clean any part of the filter.

• If the product falls into the water do not reach for it, unplug the unit first

then retrieve the unit from the water. If any of the electrical components

get wet unplug immediately .

WARNING FOR UNIT WITH TERMINATOR

UVC STERILIZER

• The UV lamp produces harmful ultraviolet radiation. Do not look di-

rectly at the UVC bulb when lit. Exposure to ultraviolet light can dam-

age eyes and skin.

• Do not plug the UVC sterilizer into an extension cord.

• Always disconnect the power supply before opening the unit for ser-

vice. Failure to do so will expose the user to harmful UV radiation.

• Although the ballast is water resistant, do not place the ballast in an

area where it can come into contact with water.
