3M™ Compressed Air Filter and Regulator Panel W-2806/07006 -
The Filter and Regulator Panel is a compressed breathing air purifier system
designed to help remove or reduce selected contaminants that are found in
standard compressed airlines.
1. Air Entry:
Air entering the filtration system at the inlet may be contaminated with oil,
water, dirt, rust, scale and vaporous hydrocarbons.
2. Single Stage Filtration:
a. The Filter and Regulator Panel contains a single filter embedded with
carbon designed to remove liquid, particles and low levels of vaporous
hydrocarbons.
b. Liquid contaminants are trapped in the filter assembly and expelled
through the drain valve.
3. Pressure Regulator:
The air is then passed through the air pressure regulator, which is used to
adjust the air pressure going to the respirators.
4. Available Retrofit Carbon Monoxide Monitor:
a. The optional carbon monoxide monitor (part number W-2808,
automotive part number 37027) can be purchased separately and
retrofitted to the filter and regulator panel.
b. When attached, a sample of the filtered air is taken and passed
through the carbon monoxide monitor.
c. The carbon monoxide monitor continuously checks the carbon
monoxide concentration and digitally displays the amount present in
parts per million.
d. An audio and visual alarm will alert operators if carbon monoxide
concentrations exceed a preset level of 10 parts per million in the USA
and 5 parts per million in Canada.
e. The carbon monoxide alarm will sound to alert the operator that a
problem has developed. The monitor alarm will sound due to one or
more of the following conditions:
-
The filter cartridge life is exhausted.
-
The carbon monoxide monitor is out of calibration.
