THIS APPLIANCE.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

• Read all instructions before using.

• The kettle can only be used with the power base supplied along with it.

• This appliance generates heat while in use. All safety precautions must

be undertaken to prevent the risk of burns, scalds, fire, contact with hot

exterior surface etc.

• Always make sure that your hands are dry before connecting the

appliance to the power supply and switching the appliance on.

• Do not use the appliance if there are any visible signs of damage, or if

there is a leak or if it has been dropped.

• If the supply cord has been damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its service agent or a qualified person in order to avoid a

hazard.

• Do not place the kettle on or near a hot gas, an electric burner, a hot

oven or any other potentially hot surface.

• Never fill in the kettle when it is positioned in its power base.

• Do not operate the kettle without anything or with insufficient water in it

to avoid damaging the heating elements.

• Ensure that the kettle is used on a stable, dry and flat surface out of reach

of children, this will prevent the kettle from overturning and prevent

damage or injury.

• To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not

immerse power cord, electric plug or kettle in water or other liquids.

• While water is boiling, or just after the water has finished boiling, avoid

contact with steam from the spout. Never open the lid of the kettle while

it is boiling the water.

• Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without

tipping the kettle too fast.

• Do not refill the kettle while it is still hot.
