This unit corresponds to all required directives of the EU and is therefore marked with CE.
Caution ! This unit is supplied by 230V~. Never touch the inside of this device, to avoid, in case
of bad handling, a deadly electrical schock.
Obey the following points :
• This unit is designed for indoor use only. To prevent shock hasard, protect it against dripping water
and splash water, high humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
• Do not place any vessel filled with liquid, e. g. a drinking glass, on the unit.
• Never use this device and unplug immediately the device when:
1. The device is damaged.
2. After a fall if you think the device could work badly.
3. Some dysfunctions appears.
• If the device or AC plug are damaged, they have to be repaired by a specialized technician.
• For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, do not use chemical products or water.
• No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the unit is used for purposes other than originally intended, if it is not
correctly connected or operated, or not repaired in an expert way.
• If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
• Defective rechargeable batteries do not belong in the household rubbish; always take them to a
special waste disposal (e. g. collection container at your retailer).
I Description
This Insect Killer is composed of 2 UV Luring tubes of 10 W power rate, a protecting grid and a High
Voltage grid. The UV (ultra-violet) rays are proven to be the most effective lure for light sensitive flying
insects like flies, wasps, mosquitoes and many others. This device does not product any chemical
vapour, it is silent and odourless, and used in many places (Hotel, restaurant, houses, factories, food
outlets, hospitals for exemple). This device is supplied by 230 VAC Only.
II Installation
The diagram on page 1 shows you how to fix the insect killer on a wall with the provided chain. You
can also just put it on a desk for exemple, but it is preferable if it is fixed on a wall. Not dangerous for
childrens and pets.
