Save and Send
Saving Locally
Once you're ready to save, the Save button on the bottom bar allows you to store scans on
your computer or an external drive.

Select scan(s) and click the Save button. You can then choose a file format (see table
below for a list of available formats).

Select a destination. Your destination can be any folder you choose on your computer.

Click Save, and your scan will be shown as saved (with a green checkmark).

Sending to Local Apps

Local apps are programs you use on your computer to work with documents and
images, like Acrobat, Evernote, iPhoto, Preview, Windows Photo Viewer, and Photoshop.

You can send your scan right to a local app, instead of saving it to a file. Click the Send
button on the bottom bar, then select the app.

Doxie automatically finds popular local apps for documents and images
installed on your computer. You can customize the list in Preferences.
