An EID (electronic identification) stick reader, in
terms of scales, is a device that provides a digital
readout. This is displayed when an item (e.g. a
cattle or sheep) is weighed.
An indicator (in terms of scales) is a device that
provides a digital readout of measurements from a
connected set of scales (e.g. load bars). This is
displayed when an item (e.g. a cattle or sheep) is
weighed.
A set of two load bars can be installed under cattle
platforms, sheep crates and wool presses to be used
with any weigh scale indicator to provide a display
of the weight of an animal standing above the load
bars.
