Possible Cause
Power supply failure
Isolator fuse blown/MCB
tripped
User point left open causing
flow to take place
Leak in system
Pump air locked
Passing too much water
Pump partially seized
Leaking ball valve
Non-return valve letting by
Non-return valve letting by
Remedy
Reinstate incoming power supply
Replace fuse /reset MCB
Close user point
Switch unit off until leak is
repaired
Vent pump
Check system for leaks
Remove pump and check for sediment
build up or foreign objects
Replace ball valve seal
Replace/clean non-return valve in
the pump controller
Replace non-return valve
in pump controller unit
