Rate: As previously stated, the rate should match the quality of your video source.
Analog/VCR: 32000 Hz
CD quality: 44100 Hz
DV quality: 48000 Hz
Format: 16 bit stereo is the best quality, but will use more disk space
Compressor: leave Uncompressed
Interleave: should be set for 1 second, lowering this amount requires more RAM and
will slow down your computer.
Under Processing Options, make sure your Enhance Rate conversion is off. Create
audio preview files if there are 3 or more active audio tracks, and 1 or more filters. This
will allow you to have full audio capabilities when editing
