Follow the instructions of the Operating Manual in all respects. After measurement of
patients make sure to fold the measuring tongue down to avoid danger of injury. Do not use
any aggressive cleaning materials for cleaning; only use a damp cloth or conventional
disinfectant.

Place the patient on the footplate so that his or her back is to the column.

Then pull out the length measuring unit at the head of the column as far as
necessary. The length measuring rod is divided into three segments: two with size
divisions and one without units (for the first 85 cm).

Please make sure when pulling out that initially only the first segment is pulled out
completely. Measurements of height from 85 cm to 140.5 cm can be taken with this.

If the patient is taller than 140.5 cm, please also extend the second segment. The
measuring range could be extended up to 210 cm.

Unfold the measuring tongue and adjust the measuring rod so that the measuring
tongue rests on the head of the person standing upright.

In any case, the size reading takes place at the red mark at the height of 85 cm.
ADE will repair or replace this product within a period of 2 years from date of delivery
applying to defects occurred due to poor material or workmanship (presentation of invoice is
necessary). All moveable parts – batteries, cables, mains units, rechargeable batteries etc. –
are excluded. Warranty does not include natural wear, damages caused by incorrect or
negligent handling, overuse or unsuitable or improper storage. The cost of transport will be
borne by the customer should the equipment be located anywhere other than the customer's
premises. In the event of transport damage, claims under warranty can be accepted subject
to using the complete original packaging and the equipment secured the way it was packed
and secured originally. All the packaging should therefore be retained.
Any warranty claim will be rejected if the equipment is opened by persons not authorized
expressively by ADE to do so.

customer service and spare parts.
