How To Set Ground Drive High & Low Range
Sprockets:
Note: Set each sprocket range according to the seed
rate manual.
1) Push down on the idler handle.
2) Remove the chain.
3) Route the chain, on the correct range, around the
idlers and sprockets as shown to the right.
4) Set each drill box with the same range.
How To Set Hydraulic Drive High & Low Range
Sprockets:
Note: Set each sprocket range according to the seed
rate manual.
1) Push down on the idler handle.
2) Remove the chain.
3) Route the chain, on the correct range, around the
idlers and sprockets as shown to the right.
4) Set each drill box with the same range.
How To Lock Up & Unlock Openers:
Note: Openers must be locked up for transport or for
working under the drill. Opener handles can be moved
with openers up or down, but lock indicators only
engage and disengage after the openers are raised
completely. There are two lock handles on each drill
section, six handles total.
To Lock Up Openers:
1) Position the lock handles (1) in ROAD position (2).
2) Completely raise the openers until the spring
loaded locks, latch into place.
