1.
Measure the width and height required, see Fig. 5. HiB recommends installing
plinths 2mm from the floor.
2. If installing a BTW unit, a return piece will need to be cut from the plinth. HiB
recommends a return of 65mm, see Fig. 6.
3. Always double check measurements before cutting. Cut the plinth to size.
4. Measure and mark the carcass leg centres on the back face of the plinth. See
Fig. 7.
5. Fix the brackets to the plinth using the screws provided.
6. If a plinth return is required, fix to the plinth in the appropriate location using
the screws provided.
7. Prior to installing, seal all cut edges using the sealant provided.
8. Secure the plinth to the carcass legs.
