Linking to the Next M-401e or M-801e Multi-Zone Amplifi er
In large installations where multiple M-801e
amplifi ers are required, Ethernet conveys
amplifi er control, and link to other Media
sources if connected to the Home network
Router or Switch. Ensure all amplifi ers
using same the amp ID in the stack.
The source equipment audio inputs must
be plugged into the fi rst amplifi er where
they are buffered and sent to the next
amplifi er in the stack. The maximum
recommended expansion is 24 units.

Fig 2 shows a stack of M-800e with Source
connections to fi rst amplifi er where they
are converted to Digital audio, buffered
and sent to the next amplifi er in the stack.
