Verify that the data logger is correctly configured for working with the BGAN communication: BGAN should appear in the

upper right corner of the data logger display & The modem type must be: 7 - BGAN / Direct com.

5. Connect in real time with the data logger with the laptop changing the Ip defined by the Moxa IP (192.168.128.101).

* In case of not working, check the serial cable between the data logger and Moxa. It is necessary to verify that the cable is con-

nected following the diagram.

* The connection of the TX and RX cables is very important because if they are connected in an inverted way, communication will

not be possible.

B. BGAN Modem - Moxa NPORT 5110

Configure the .sit in the EOL Manager and try to make a communication in real time. Depending on the location, the

correct Ip address should be chosen.

* In case of no communication:

- Open the browser and type the IP address of the BGAN provided by the supplier. The BGAN configuration page should

appear. ATTENTION: Doing this only in the case of communication problems, data consumption implied.

- Make sure that the SIM is active.

- Make sure that the IP from which you are trying to connect to the BGAN has permission in the Firewall to make the com-

munication.
