Safety Features
Your EZ-2 Make™ Jamba Juice™ Smoothie & Ice Pop Maker is fitted with 3 safety
features:
1. T he smoothie mixing jug for the Smoothie Maker has a non-removable
safety grille which prevents fingers from accessing the cutting blades
(as shown in Diagram A). Simply cut the fruits into small segments and
put through the grille as described in the recipe pages.
2. T he smoothie mixing jug will separate from the base, (please see
Diagrams A-C) for cleaning purposes. The motor has a safety isolation
switch and cannot be switched on when the 2 parts
are separated.
3. Lid must be slid completely in place to activate the unit (Diagram D).
For your safety
• Do not re-freeze ice cream or sorbet to make ice pops.
• Ask an adult to help remove the pops from the mold.
• E nsure your hands are dry or use a dry cloth to handle the pop mold,
• When removing from the freezer, keep molds upright.
Your Hygiene
• Always wash your hands thoroughly before using the Smoothie Maker.
• A lways ask an adult to wash and dry the smoothie mixing jug, ice
pop molds, ice pop sticks, etc. in warm soapy water before using (see
Cleaning & Maintenance section).
• Always use fresh ingredients.
• Keep pets away from food and food preparation areas.
• Keep work surfaces clean and tidy to avoid germs.
• All parts are made from food grade materials.
