Record Modes - Split or Combined

Your tracks may be saved as individual .WAV or .MP3 file using SPLIT mode, or all
16-channels can be saved as a COMBINED file which will appear as one saved .BND file.
Recording in COMBINED mode reduces the amount of time your Tracker MT16 will need
to encode, and is highly recommended.

To break COMBINED files out into their component .WAV files, run the BND Split Utility
available at www.JamHub.com/support/tracker on your computer. Along with each .BND
file, you will see that your Tracker creates a .INFO file. The .INFO file is used by the Split
Utility to assign your tracks to the proper channel.

Encoder - On or Off?

Recording 96kHz audio requires additional processing power from your Tracker. The
encoder feature allows you to control where and when this post processing is done.
If the encoder is set to On, your Tracker will spend time processing your 96kHz audio
after you stop recording.
If the encoder is set to Off, the BND splitter (see Record Modes) which runs on your PC
or Mac, will process your 96kHz audio, and you will not need to monitor the Tracker's
progress in processing.
We recommend turning your encoder Off for all recordings made in Combined mode.
