Adjusting the angle of the cutting head

Press the button on the main motor as shown below, this will enable you to

adjust the angle of the cut to suit the height of the grass. When the button is

released the head will remain in place.

Adjusting the rotating head

The trimmer can also be used as an edging tool. To adjust the angle, pull the

head grip away from the rotation lock, downwards, then turn the head 90°

and release, it will then lock into place.

Care and maintenance

•

Before each use check the trimmer for any obvious defects such as

loose worn or damaged parts.

•

Do not use the trimmer if there is any sign of damage or if cutting

edges are blunt this will over stress the motor of the machine.

•

Check the outer sections of the body and safety switch for any

damage and if present get a qualified person to replace.

•

Carry out the following maintenance and cleaning work regularly

•

Every time you use the trimmer clean all parts especially the ventilation

slots and under the safety guard. Remove any moisture, debris or dust

and store in a clean dry environment.

•

Do not use or submerge the trimmer in water or use cleaning agents or

solvents, these may damage the materials present on the trimmer.

•

Do not try to service the trimmer yourself, always take it to a qualified

repair person.
