Oj Press and hold down simultaneously the "+" and "—" buttons while you switch
on the appliance. The multidisplay then shows the level just then set. Should
this not be the case, switch off the appliance and repeat as described.
CJ Set the water softener according to the following table to the stage pertaining
to the water hardness in your locality. To do this, press the "+" button or "—"
button.
D0 After setting the hardness stage, wait until the message in the multidisplay goes
out (around 6 seconds). Only then is the setting permanently stored.
6 Switch off the machine with the ON/OFF button.
All illuminating indicators on the control panel go out.
