Receiving and Sending SMS*
The SMS message indicator on the main
window appears when new messages are
received. Depending on your settings in the
Options dialog box, you may be prompted with
a sound when new messages are received.
If your SMS Inbox becomes full, you will not be
able to receive any new messages until you
delete some messages from the SMS Inbox.
To read SMS messages:
1. On the main window, click on the SMS message
icon
.
2. At the SMS dialog box, click on the Inbox tab.
3. Select a message header to display the message.
To create and send SMS messages:
1. On the main window, click on the SMS message
icon
.
2. Select New Message.
3. At the To... box, enter the recipient's phone
number or select recipients from your contact
list.
4. At the message window, type your message.
(The maximum length of a SMS message is
usually 70 characters).
5. Click on the Send button to send your message.
