T I P S F O R O P E R AT I O N
• To install batteries: Press the battery compartment latch to remove the battery
access door. Place four (4) AA batteries inside using the + and - guides for orientation.
• Use the System Setup Menu to select patient type: Adult, Pediatric or Neonatal.
• Default SpO2 low/high alarms are set for 90/100 for adults and 90/95 for neonates.
• Default pulse rate low/high alarms are set for 50/120 for adults
and 100/200 for neonates.
• Alarm and pulse tone volumes can be adjusted within a range from one to five.
• To transfer data to a PC: Turn off the oximeter and push the Power and
Function buttons at the same time for one second to start data transfer mode.
• To clean: Power off the oximeter and remove the batteries before cleaning with a cloth
that has been dampened with approved 75% ethanol or 70% isopropanol cleaning
solution. Do not use ammonium disinfectants to prevent damaging the oximeter.
