Quads
Pads placed just above the knee will focus
the session on the thighs and upper legs
(predominantly quads) as the current
passes through the body between the
connection points.
This is a great setup to target the quads
and upper legs and is best used following
movements such as squatting, deadlifting,
leg press leg extensions as well as running
or cycling.
A similar placement, but on the back of the
thigh will focus a little more on hamstrings
and glutes.
Rear Deltoids
Pad placement on the rear deltoids on the
back of the shoulder will focus the current
on the rear delts and upper back.
This may be the optimum setup following
training the upper back and is well paired
with exercises such as rows, face pulls,
shrugs and deadlifts as well as others that
work this area.
