Switching on

Set the poweR switch on the front panel to the

center setting.

The LED glows orange and the device is in

Standby mode.

Briefly press the poweR switch up or press the

poweR button on the remote control.

The LED glows red and the system boots up.

This process can take some time.

As soon as the system has booted up, the

setup wizard starts and takes you through the

initial settings.

Press the start button.

You can now select whether to use the device

without a network connection (Stand alone) or

with a network connection (Standard).

To use the device without a network

connection: Press the stand alone button and

then press the next button.

You can find detailed instructions on how to use the device in a network in the

full instructions for the device and the iPad.

To switch the device to Standby mode:

Briefly press the poweR switch up or press the poweR button on the

remote control.

After the system powers down the device switches to Standby mode.

To completely switch off the device:

Press the poweR switch down into the off position.

After the system powers down the device switches off. You will not be

able to use the remote control to switch it on again from this state.
