Note: It is recommended to use the center 3/8-inch socket for the

greatest balance and stability. If your tripod has a 1/4-inch mounting

post, use a 1/4- to 3/8-inch bushing adapter (available separately) to

attach the slider.

3. Using the bubble level on the camera base as a guide, adjust the tripod

legs to align the slider with the horizon.

1. Align the tripods' threaded posts with the corresponding 1/4- or 3/8-

inch sockets on each end of the slider.

2. Screw in each tripod until secure.

Tip: It may be easier to turn the slider upside down to screw in the

tripods.

3. Using the bubble level on the camera base as a guide, adjust the tripod

legs to align the slider with the horizon.

Important!

To mount the CS-CF-30LW onto a pair of light stands, each light stand must have

a spigot with a 1/4- or 3/8-inch mounting stud.

1. Remove the spigots from the light stands, and screw them into the

mounting sockets on either end of the slider.

Note: It's recommended to use the center 3/8-inch mounting sockets on

both ends for balance and stability.

2. Place the slider onto the light stands by fitting the spigots into the light

stands' receivers, and tighten until secure.

Important!

Before mounting your camera, lock down the camera base by securing the

brake. Secure the slider on a stable, level surface or make sure that the slider is

securely mounted on the tripod or light stands before mounting the camera.

1. Attach the tripod head by rotating it clockwise until it is secure and

flush with the camera platform.
